Gov. Mitch Daniels signs Indiana Lifeline Bill into law

Gov. Mitch Daniels signed the Indiana Lifeline Bill into law Friday afternoon.

The new law will grant limited protection to those who seek emergency assistance for underage friends who have consumed too much alcohol.

The law will go into effect July 1 of this year.
