Man arrested for alleged assault, domestic battery

Bloomington police were called to IU-Health Bloomington Hospital at about 4:30 a.m. Monday in response to injuries suffered by Lori Blake, 52.

Blake suffered from injuries after allegedly being strangled, Bloomington Police Department Lt. Bill Parker said.

Blake told officers she was assaulted by her husband, Christopher Gray, 46. Gray denied the allegations, Parker said.

Gray was arrested for strangulation, a D-felony, as well as domestic battery and intimidation, both misdemeanors.
