Thursday’s scheduled public lecture by Nirupama Rao, India’s ambassador to the United States, has been canceled.
Rao’s visit was canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, according to a press release. Roa also stated she will work to reschedule her visit.
The lecture, along with a private dinner with IU President Michael McRobbie, was sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for International Affairs and the Madhusudan and Kiran C. Dhar India Studies Program.
