Employees of Kilroy’s Sports Bar N Grill called the Bloomington Police Department on Sunday at about 2 a.m. after a thrown bottle hit a customer in the head, said Sgt. Steve Kellams of BPD.
Chris Perantoni, 41, was struck by a bottle while at Kilroy’s Sports.
He hadn’t been in an argument, and police have no idea who threw the bottle, Kellams said.
“He received three lacerations on the side of his face,” Kellams said. “They needed stitches.”
Perantoni was transported to IU-Health Bloomington Hospital.
Police still have no idea who threw the bottle or why, Kellams said.
The department has requested video footage from the bar to try to find the assailant, who could be charged with aggravated battery.
