Lilly Endowment awards IU Kelley School of Business $33 million grant

Kelley Grant

President Michael McRobbie announced today that the Lilly Endowment has presented Indiana University with a $33 million grant to expand the Kelley School of Business and renovate the existing facilities.

This is the largest grant the Kelley School of Business has received in it’s 92-year history, and one of the largest ever received by IU.

The new building will feature classrooms and study areas that will facilitate technology-based learning and collaboration among students and faculty.

Construction on the new building will begin this Spring. Upon its completion, classes will move to the new facility and renovation will begin one floor at a time on the existing structure, McRobbie said.

“We are pleased that the new facilities will help secure the Kelley school standing as one of the top places for business education in the United States,” said Sara Cobb, Lilly Endowment vice president for education.
