The IU men’s basketball team cruised to a 73-49 win against
Gardner-Webb on Monday night at Assembly Hall.
The Hoosiers were led by five players in double figures with sophomore guard Will Sheehey leading the way with 15 points.
While the Hoosiers shot 16.7 percent (3-for-18) from beyond the arc, they still shot 49 percent (29-for-59) from the floor. IU was able to limit Gardner Webb to 38 percent (18-of-48) shooting and just 26 second-half points.
IU improves to 5-0 with the win, marking the second straight season in which it has done so.
The Hoosiers will have a five-day break and return to action when they take on in-state foe Butler at 7 p.m. on Sunday night at Assembly Hall.
