Bloomington man with record of public nudity arrested for allegedly exposing himself

James King, 60, of Bloomington, was arrested by the Bloomington Police Department on Sunday for allegedly exposing himself to a woman and grabbing her breast.

The 57-year-old victim called police at 12:45 p.m. and reported that she was confronted by King, who removed his penis from his pants.

She said the suspect then grabbed her breast, causing pain.

In response, the victim punched and kicked King in the groin, BPD Sgt. Jeff Canada said. Canada also said a witness was present at the incident.

The incident reportedly occurred at North Hopewell Street  and West Kirkwood Avenue.
Police found King standing outside of his apartment  and arrested him at approximately 1:03 p.m.

For this incident, King is charged with battery and public nudity.
While King has never been charged with battery, he has been charged with public nudity on multiple occasions.

According to Monroe County court records, King was last charged for an incident involving public nudity on May 26, 2011. King has been charged on four other accounts of public nudity.
