Thefts reported in housing parking lots

Three thefts were reported to IU Police between 9 and 10 p.m. Wednesday in the Hillcrest Apartments parking lots.

According to an IU Police Department report, all three thefts occurred Sept. 1 in the Hillcrest parking lot at the intersection of Cottage Grove and Fess avenues.

IUPD Chief Keith Cash said all three alleged victims reported their parking passes stolen.
There were also thefts from cars reported in the Read Hall parking lot early Tuesday morning.
