Local motorcyclists to ride through Brown County for missing student

Motorcycle enthusiasts will have a chance to ride to raise awareness for missing IU student Lauren Spierer on Saturday, July 30.

Spierer has been missing since June 3.

Registration for the event will open at 9 a.m. July 30 at Harley-Davidson of Bloomington, 552 W. Gourley Pike. The ride starts at 10 a.m.

The event is free, but donations will be accepted. Volunteers will be stationed throughout the event passing out fliers to raise awareness about Lauren’s disappearance.

The ride will last 50 miles, taking motorcyclists through Bean Blossom and Nashville in Brown County. Food and drinks will be provided at the event.
