IU trustees to meet Thursday, Friday

The IU Board of Trustees will meet Thursday, June 23, and Friday, June 24, in the Student Activities Center at IU-South Bend.

Among other items, the trustees are expected to review and approve the school’s 2011-12 budget, consider approving various renovation projects and consider changing the name of the School of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation to the IU School of Public Health-Bloomington.

In May, the trustees approved a 5.5 percent increase in tuition and fees for in-state students and a 6.7 percent increase for nonresident students.
