Peace Out, Hoosier State!

The forecast for Bloomington this spring break is bleak. The highest temperature will reach 61 degrees, and almost every day will be cloudy. Here are some places you could go to escape the doom and gloom of the Hoosier state.

South Padre Island
Surrounded on all sides by beautiful beaches and water, this Texan island will see temperatures in the mid-70s during break.

Las Vegas
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas — that is until you come home and brag to all your friends that you went there for break. Temperatures will be in the high 70s in this desert city, and you’ll find no shortage of things to do.

Panama City
Florida is the classic getaway for those on spring break. You’ll get low 70s and a week of sunshine if you choose to hit this beach.

Lake Havasu
Pack plenty of tank tops and short shorts. This favorite for West Coast college students, located in Arizona, features beaches and a lively nightlife. Visitors will see high 80s all week.
