IU squares off with 5th-ranked Wolverines

This week: At Michigan at 11 a.m. Saturday and at Michigan State at 11 a.m. Sunday.

Look ahead: IU coach Lin Loring said No. 5 Michigan is the favorite to win the Big Ten this season, along with No. 11 Northwestern. The Wolverines’ lineup includes three singles players in the top 100, compared to IU’s one, sophomore Leslie Hureau at No. 78.

They said it: “We just have to concentrate on every single match,” IU senior Katya Zapadalova said. “Right now Michigan is probably going to be the toughest of all of them. But other than that, with every single other team it’s always going to be a 4-3 (score) or a really tough match.”
