Bloomington Hospital to offer free blood pressure screenings

Bloomington Hospital will offer free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings Wednesday at Dick’s Sporting Goods in College Mall. 

The screenings will last from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. and no appointment is necessary.
A 12-hour fast is required prior to the blood sugar screening.

On Mon. Nov. 22, from 9 a.m. to noon, Bloomington Hospital will provide a First Aid course at 714 S. Rogers St., Room 225.

The course includes information on general first aid principles, medical, injury and environmental emergencies and asthma care.  Cost is $50. To register, call 812-353-5252 or click “Events” at www.bloomingtonhospital.org.
