Michigan’s Robinson cleared to play Saturday

Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson is “good to go” for Saturday’s game against IU, according to an Associated Press report.

Wolverine coach Rich Rodriguez made the announcement on Wednesday.

Robinson left in the first quarter of Michigan’s game last week against Bowling Green with a bruised left knee. He did not return to the game.

Many consider Robinson to be a leading candidate for the Heisman Trophy. Through four games, Robinson has rushed for 688 yards and six touchdowns, passed for 731 yards and four touchdowns.

The IU-Michigan game will kick off at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
