Indiana residents can register to vote or update their voter registration online, according to a press release from the office of State Sen. Vi Simpson, D-District 40.
Residents must have a valid Indiana driver’s license or Indiana state-issued identification card in order to use the online service.
The website is www.indianavoters.in.gov.
Residents still have the options to register to vote by mail or in-person at a county voter registration office. The Monroe County Voter Registration Office is located in the Curry Building at 214 W. Seventh St., Suite 140.
The deadline for registering to participate in the November 2010 General Election is midnight on Oct. 4, 2010.
