Bush to be stripped of Heisman

Former USC running back Reggie Bush will lose his 2005 Heisman Memorial Trophy amid an investigation as to whether he received improper benefits while in school, according to Yahoo Sports.

Bush allegedly accepted gifts from marketing personalities during his tenure with the Trojans, sparking an extensive search into USC’s athletic program. The school also came under fire for an alleged similar offense involving former basketball player O.J. Mayo.

USC ordered the current New Orleans Saints running back to return his personal Heisman trophy in July.
