A 57-year-old woman was punched and robbed of her purse at 10:25 p.m. Wednesday in the Marsh parking lot at 1825 N. Kinser Pike, according to a report read by Bloomington Police Department Lt. David Drake.
While she exited Marsh, a man with dark clothing and dark hair approached her and tried to grab her purse. When she struggled, the man hit her, causing her to fall to the ground. The man fled and was last seen heading in a southeastern direction, according to the report.
BPD found credit cards lying in the street intersection of Seventh and Rogers streets that belonged to the woman.
