Doss to be limited in opener

IU junior wide receiver Tandon Doss will likely miss Thursday’s football opener against Towson due to injury.

The preseason All-Big Ten wide receiver pulled a stomach muscle in practice last week and has been limited in practice ever since. Doss was not listed in the weekly depth chart IU released on Monday.

IU coach Bill Lynch said if Doss played Thursday, it would be a limited basis, but the injury is not believed to be serious.

IU’s wide receiving corps, led by Doss, is considered by many to be one of the best in the Big Ten.
