BPD allows crime reporting online

The Bloomington Police Department now has an online incident report system to allow people to report crimes online.
The system organizes crimes such as vandalism, minor thefts and lost property.
“Any crime where there is a suspect or where evidence would need to be collected and processed would still need to be filed with an officer,” said BPD Capt. Joe Qualters in a press release.
Qualters said in the release the online reporting system has been underutilized.
The online reporting system is located in the “quick links” section on BPD’s website at
www.bloomington.in.gov/police.
