20-year-old breaks into house while intoxicated

Police responded to a disturbance South Highland Avenue. They believed that someone was trying to break into a house.

Vincent Culpepper, age 20, was found by police outside a house after trying to get in the house through the window. Police believe that he was drunk and went to the wrong house thinking that it was his and was trying to get in, Sgt. Jeff Canada of the Bloomington Police Department said.

He was found outside and they placed him on the ground and handcuffed him. He had a laceration on his arm and an ambulance came and bandaged his hand until the hospital, where he got stitches on his finger. After treatment, Culpepper was arrested on the preliminary charges of criminal mischief, illegal consumption and illegal possession by a minor.
