$3,700 in items stolen from apartment

At least $3,700 worth of electronics and other items were stolen from an IU student’s
apartment Tuesday night.

The 20-year-old student returned to his Dunnhill apartment at 405 E. 17th St. around 7:55 p.m. to find his bedroom window forced open and dirt and footprints on his bed just below the window. The house was also vandalized, with a mirror broken off the wall and doors ripped off of a closet, said BPD Lt. David Drake.

Items reported stolen include a 40-inch LED Samsung television worth $1,300, a MacBook Pro worth $1,500, a Playstation 3 worth $300, a Wii gaming system worth $200, four pairs of Air Jordan tennis shoes worth a total of $400, an iPod Touch mp3 player and a Garmin GPS system.

No arrests have been made in connection with this robbery.
