Alumni law magazine receives gold award

The IU School of Law-Indianapolis won a Gold award in the 25th-annual Educational Advertising Awards competition for its 2009 alumni magazine/dean’s report for the school.

The publication has received three additional national awards in the past 18 months.

“These awards bode well for the strong positive impact our publications have on those who read them,” said Gary Roberts, dean of the law school, in an IU press release.

The competition is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country and more than 2,000 entries were submitted from 1,000 schools all over the country. Only 218 schools received Gold awards.

The award is sponsored by the Higher Education Marketing Report.
