Female found unconscious near Foster, reports sexual assault

IU Police Department officers found an unconsciousness, partially clothed female on the north side of Foster Magee at 3:27 a.m. Thursday.

The woman was transported and admitted to Bloomington Hospital, according to a press release from IUPD.

The victim is an IU student, IUPD Lt. Craig Munroe said.

The victim told officers she was sexually assaulted but was unable to provide the location or identity of the suspect.

IU Police currently have one person of interest and are interviewing others who may have information on this incident.
