IU-Kokomo is close to choosing a new chancellor.
The finalists will visit the campus this month, and afterward the search committee will meet again and make a recommendations to President Michael McRobbie.
McRobbie’s decision will be subject to approval by the IU board of trustees.
Bradley Balch, dean of the College of Education at Indiana State University will visit Thursday, and Michael Harris, provost and vice president for academic affairs at Kettering University, will follow Friday.
Joe Delap, associate vice president for academic affairs at Jacksonville State University, will visit Feb. 16, and William Fannin, provost and vice president for academic affairs at The University of Texas of the Permian Basin, will visit Feb. 23.
“We are impressed with the quality of candidates and pleased to see the high level of interest in this search,” said Nasser Paydar, IU-East Richmond chancellor, in an IU press release.
Paydar is also chair of the search committee.
