For the third time this season, IU lost in overtime, this time at the hands of Ohio State 1-0 Sunday at Bill Armstrong Stadium.

Ohio State's game-winner came off a scramble in front of the Hoosier goal with 7:26 to play in the first overtime. The goal was credited to Eric Shrigley.

The Hoosiers fall to 8-8-1 (2-3) on the year and have one more game Friday to close out the regular season. The 3 p.m. contest against Penn State is IU's last opportunity to close out the season above the .500 mark before hosting the Big Ten Tournament next weekend.

For the first time since 1985, IU risks missing the NCAA Tournament.

IU is 1-3-1 in overtime games this year and 4-5-1 in games decided by a goal or less.
