MORE INFO Floats will depict this year’s theme of “Wacky Wild Crimson Style.” The 51st Homecoming Parade line-up will start at 4:15 p.m. on Rose Avenue in front of Willkie. Winners will be announced at halftime of the IU-Illinois football game Saturday night.
Pep Rally

MORE INFO Following the Homecoming Parade, the Student Athletic Board will have a Homecoming Pep Rally. Special guests will include President Michael McRobbie, men’s basketball coach Tom Crean, football coach Bill Lynch and senior football players. The Marching Hundred and IU cheerleaders will also attend. Fireworks will conclude the rally.
Hoosier Hysteria

MORE INFO The 2009-10 basketball season officially starts Friday when the men’s and women’s teams have their first open practice of the season. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. before the volleyball team takes on Iowa at 5:30 p.m. Autographs will be signed at 6:30 p.m. The women’s team will take the court around 7:45 p.m. and the men will do the same around 8:30 p.m. Admission is free with one canned food item.
