The Indianapolis Fire Department discovered a meth lab in Indianapolis at about 1 a.m. Wednesday after a report of an ammonia odor.
Trooper Tom Egler, a member of the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Clandestine Lab team, searched the garage where the odor was coming from, according to the release. He located the source of the odor and discovered a dismantled lab and ingredients for producing methamphetamine.
Egler continued to search the premises and found Mark Theurer, 44, of Indianapolis. Theurer had an active warrant for his arrest in Randolph County for possession of methamphetamine, according to the release. He was arrested and taken to the Arrestee Processing Center where he is held on bond.
