IU officials confirmed Friday that two IU students – one at IU-Purdue University Indianapolis and one at IU-Bloomington – have tested positive for swine flu.
According to the emergency preparedness Web site, both students are doing well. IU has no plans to alter University operating schedules.
Earlier in the day, the Indiana State Department of Health said that 14 new swine flu cases had been confirmed in the state, bringing the total number of cases to 120.
Nine of the new illnesses were in Marion County, four in Lake County and one in Monroe County.
Five people have been hospitalized in Indiana with the virus and released.
