Freshman Derek Drouin and junior Vera Neuenswander both cleared personal records to win the high jump and pole vault, respectively, at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships.
Drouin cleared a personal record of 2.22 meters while Neuenswander's clearance of 4.31 meters was an IU and Mideast Regional record.
With the wins, Drouin and Neuenswander move on to the Collegiate National Championship in Fayetteville, Ark. They also earn the IU track and field team 10 points toward their total scores.
