IU-Ball State baseball game canceled

IU's 3 p.m. game today against Ball State has been canceled due to poor field conditions at the Ball Diamond stadium in the Muncie. The game will not be rescheduled.

The contest could have been the fourth-straight win for the Hoosiers, who swept Iowa during the weekend. IU (16-17, 6-2) is currently tied for first place in the conference. The team will defend that mark at 3 p.m. this Friday when it takes on Penn State at Sembower Field.
