Philosophy ontology project will receive $400K

The Indiana Philosophy Ontology project will receive $400,000 from the National Endowment for the Humanities throughout the next two years.

The grant was announced today as part of a $20 million awarded given to 197 projects that provide humanities research, access, education and public programming.

InPhO creates interactive, digital tools meant to helps students learn the discipline of philosophy.

The grant will allow the Indiana Philosophy Ontology project to develop better ways of presenting data and allowing users to interact with the system.
