Fred Glass to meet with students

Students can meet the new IU Director of Athletics Fred Glass from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Foster Quad’s Gresham Food Court. The event is sponsored by the Residence Halls Association and Student Alumni Association.

At 3 p.m. Glass will walk around the food court and talk to students. At 3:30 p.m. students will gather at the back of Gresham for the conversation with the new athletics director.

Students can speak to Glass and ask questions but should expect him to ask questions as well, said senior Eric Gibson, RHA president.

The event is an effort to make students aware of what the athletics department can do and open up to students, Gibson said.
