16-year-old Newberry, Ind., girl missing

The Bloomington State Police are investigating a report of a missing girl, 16-year-old Danielle Renae Blackmore of Newberry, Ind.

Blackmore was last seen by her mother at about 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Blackmore told her mother she was going to stay the night at a friend's house, who lives in the same area, according to a statement issued by the police.

Blackmore is described as a white female, 5-foot-1 inches, 162 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Blackmore's mother contacted police late Thursday afternoon after she failed to hear from Blackmore.
Police said they have since determined that Blackmore is with 19-year-old George Da Schake of Indianapolis.

Da Schake is described as a white male, 6-foot-1-inches, 195 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. The two were reportedly seen in Blackmore's car, a white 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix with Indiana license plate number NJ897.

Police said they currently have no reason to suspect Blackmore has been harmed.

Anyone with information on the location of Blackmore or Schake is asked to notify Trooper Jonathan Hart at the Bloomington State Police Post at 800-423-1286.
