Little 500 track open to veteran practice

Little 500 riders will hit the track today for the first day of full on-track practice at Bill Armstrong Stadium.

Despite sporadic rain today, the track is still open, according to the IU Student Foundation. Women's teams are expected to take the track at 2:45 p.m. followed by men's teams at 5 p.m.

Qualifications are slated for March 28 followed by the Individual Time Trials on April 1, Miss-N-Out on April 4 and Team Pursuit on April 18.

The women's race is at 4 p.m. April 24, and the men's race is at 2 p.m. April 25.
