NEW ALBANY, Ind. - IU's board of trustees unanimously approved a new master plan that will direct the layout of the University.
IU's master plan includes improving road conditions, integrating bike lanes and relieving transportation and parking problems.
The report doesn't include many specifics, but it ensures the style of IU's buildings will be preserved.
The trustees voted to approve the renovation of two buildings on Bloomington's campus. Parts of School of Public and Environmental Affairs and the Carter House near the IU Kelley School of Business will be renovated for a total of $3.7 million pending state approval.
The board also voted to accept Federal Trade Commission regulations concerning credit card security. This would make IU one of the few universities to accept them.
