Students without housing plans for next year can explore their options at the 13th Annual Indiana Daily Student Housing Fair.
IU students can explore more than 100 housing options for free from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday in Alumni Hall at the Indiana Memorial Union.
The fair will offer students the opportunity to meet and greet Bloomington housing properties and complexes, according to the fair’s Web site. Housing complexes attending include Smallwood Plaza, Varsity Villas and others.
Marketing manager for the IDS Angelica Pierzchala said students walking into the fair can register for door prizes and find information at different booths.
In addition, Pierzchala said prizes will be given out every 20 minutes. The prizes vary from a Nintendo Wii to gift certificates for dining to a spring break trip from IU Outdoor Adventures.
Pierzchala said more than 1,000 students attended the fair last year.
“It’s a great opportunity for students to come because there are so many vendors there and they can have all their questions answered and even sign a lease,” Pierzchala said. “It’s just really convenient.”
