Auctioning off unwanted items

Indiana University's Surplus Stores, located at 2931 East 10th St., sells used computer systems, electronic components and furniture to the public.

The IU Surplus Store is accepting bids on a large quantity of merchandise in its store until 4 p.m. Thursday.

The store, located at 2931 E. 10th St., is open from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. The merchandise is used and sold without guarantees or warranties, according to an IU Surplus Store press release. No returns are accepted.

Computers, monitors, printers, scanners, fax machines, projectors and audio-visual equipment are among the items people can bid on. The Surplus Store only accepts checks and money orders for payment.

If a bid is successful, the bidder only has one week to pay for the merchandise. Questions should be directed to Jim McAuley at 855-2475.
