IU men’s soccer assistant coach Todd Yeagley is interviewing for the head coaching job at Wisconsin, IU coach Mike Freitag confirmed today.

Freitag said he didn’t know who else Wisconsin was interviewing for the job, but said he expected the decision to be made later in the week.

Yeagley is the son of legendary former IU coach Jerry Yeagley, and is currently in his sixth year at IU.

In February, College Soccer News named Todd Yeagley one of the top 12 assistants in the country.

He helped coach the Hoosiers to back-to-back national titles in 2003 and 2004. A four-time All-American, Todd Yeagley played for the Hoosiers from 1991 to 1994 before joining the MLS as a member of the Columbus Crew.
