IU announced Wednesday that students in the Kelley School of Business who want to “eat, sleep and breathe business” with other Kelley students have a new housing option starting fall 2009.
The Kelley School of Business Living Learning Center will house 250 undergraduate students in the business school. The LLC will be housed in the McNutt Quad, according to an IU press release. About half of the residents will be direct admits into the school and the other half will be pre-business students preparing to apply for admission.
In the center’s second year, the University will expand the housing to 500 students before reaching 750 students in its third year.
“The Kelley LLC is intended to make the freshman year more engaging and involving,” said JoAnne Namy, director of the Business Residential Community, in a press release. “Our goal is to create a more personalized college experience for students with better connections to faculty, staff, upperclassmen and alumni.”
