State police said the shooting occurred early Saturday at the rural Brown County home of Richard and Mary Voland.
Police said Richard Voland died at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. A hospital spokesman declined to release Mary Voland’s condition Monday, but police said she suffered serious injuries.
