A Bloomington resident was held at gunpoint at about 9 p.m. Sunday while walking to his car.
The 21-year-old man, was walking west of the intersection at 10th and Morton Streets when he heard someone calling to him, said Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Jeff Canada, reading from the police report.
The man told police an unidentified young male approached him and pulled out a gun, telling him to hand over any cash he had on his person. After taking the money, the suspect told the man to lie on the ground for 10 minutes. After several minutes, the man got up and called the police, Canada said.
The suspect took nothing from the victim except cash. Anyone with information regarding the robbery can call BPD at 339-4477.
