2 of 3 water mains fixed

Earlier today the City of Bloomington Utilities reported three water main breaks. The breaks were at Third Street and Eastside Drive, 10th Street and Woodlawn Avenue and 10th Street and the 45/46 bypass, said Jon Callahan, utilities public affairs specialist.

As of 2:30 p.m. the two water mains had been fixed, he said. The city is still working to repair the one at 10th and the bypass.

“It’s a work in progress,” he said.

The cause of the water main breaks is currently not known.
