The Buskirk-Chumley Theater is set to host the Colorful Hat Theatrical Circus at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Comical actress, singer and impressionist Connie Freeman Prince performs as a cleaning lady preparing an empty theater for a new production. According to the Colorful Hat Web site, she comes upon a magical colorful hat as she is cleaning and the hat takes her on an adventure into a world of color.
As Freeman struggles to find out more about her new colorful hat, aerialists and acrobats Serenity and Bill Forchion will fly through the air on the rotating double trapeze, while jugglers Tony Duncan and Jen Slaw throw objects to and at one another, according to the Web site.
The Colorful Hat is a blend of circus acts, juggling and comedy. The show is scheduled for one night only at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater, 114 E. Kirkwood Ave. Tickets can be purchased online at www.BloomingtonArts.info or by calling the Buskirk-Chumley Theater at 323-3020.
Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $5 for children age 15 and under.
