Sex in the city again

Tv Lookout — **ADVANCE FOR WEEK OF JAN. 6-12** You might think of "Cashmere Mafia" as oddly related to "Lipstick Jungle," which, also set in the Manhattan business world, stars Brooke Shields and premieres on NBC next month. "Cashmere Mafia" can be most easily identified as the one that premieres this week on ABC and stars Lucy Liu. She plays Mia, who, with Zoe (Frances O'Connor), Juliet (Mirando Otto) and Caitlin (Bonnie Comerville), are four ambitious, sexy women who have been best friends since business school, and who now, as they rise in their respective fields, continue to lend support and counsel to one another. From "Sex and The City" creator Darren Star is a dramedy about four women in New York City who try to juggle their professional and personal lives. Sound familiar? Fans of Carrie Bradshaw's fashion sense will be happy to hear that Patricia Field, costume designer for "Sex and The City's," is also on board for "Cashmere Mafia." But the show is less sex and more business, as it focuses on the careers of each protagonist.
