Out with the old, in with the new: eco-friendly paint

Thank you for your article on the Banneker Community Center mural (Jan. 23). In the article, you mentioned that the mural was using volatile organic compound-based paint. I hope this is not the case. While in most cases, “organic” is associated with preserving the environment, “volatile organic compounds” or “VOCs” are hazardous to human health.
