Awan’s column right on the money

I wanted to commend columnist Ayesha Awan for her column on Wednesday, “Facebook Activism?” She is absolutely right. If someone cares about an issue, be it Barack Obama’s presidential campaign or the right to habeas corpus, it is not enough to join a Facebook group espousing this belief. In the age of the Internet, it is all too common that people believe their Facebook profiles speak for them enough.\nI myself have donated $25 to both Sen. Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and Al Franken’s Senate race in Minnesota.
