This weekend the IU wrestling team will travel to Columbus, Ohio, to face the Ohio State Buckeyes in IU's third Big Ten match of the season. \nLast weekend's pair of duals were split with a win against rival Purdue and a loss to Illinois.\nThe Hoosiers loss against Illinois was their first dual loss of the season. Freshman Angel Escobedo suffered only his third loss of the season, this one against Gabe Flores, who was then ranked No. 10. The only victory against a ranked opponent was junior Marc Bennett's defeat of No. 15 John Dergo. Bennett is currently 11-0 this season.\nOhio State most recently went 3-0 at the 18th Annual Wendy's Big Classic Duals in Ashland, Ohio. Buckeyes wrestlers Will Livingston, T.J. Enright, J Jaggers, Chris Vondruska, Mike Pucillo and J.D. Bergman all went 3-0 in their respective weight classes. Pucillo currently has a 13-0 record this season and is ranked No. 3 nationally in the 184-pound weight class. \nDespite suffering his first loss since Dec. 2, 2006, Escobedo is still ranked in the top 10 in the nation in his weight class, and the Hoosiers slipped only four spots in the national rankings as a result of their loss to Illinois. IU has beaten the Buckeyes each of the last six seasons.\n"We have a lot to go out there and shoot for," coach Duane Goldman said.\nOhio State recently dealt Purdue its second loss of the season, beating the Boilermakers 28-6 and winning a season-high eight matches.\nIU beat Purdue last week 25-12.\nThe Buckeyes will travel to College Park, Pa., to face the Penn State Nittany Lions before hosting the Hoosiers at 2 p.m. Sunday.
