- Refrain from taking your pet to firework displays.
- Avoid leaving your pet in the car.
- Keep your pet indoors in a sheltered, quiet area.
- If your animal is easily startled by loud noises, consult with a veterinarian to ease anxiety.
- Do not leave your pets outside or unattended, even in fenced-in yards or on a chain.
- Make sure your pet is wearing an identification tag in case pet is stranded and tries to escape.
