A 21-year-old Bloomington woman escaped a would-be abductor after being grabbed in a public parking garage Tuesday afternoon.\nThe woman was walking to her car at approximately 1 p.m., Tuesday in the Walnut Center Parking Garage on the corners of 7th and Walnut when she told police she noticed a man watching her from his nearby vehicle.\nThe man was sitting in a parked silver Chevrolet Cavalier, a later model, with four doors, police reports said. \nAs the victim walked by his car he motioned for her to approach him. When she ignored him, he got out of the car and walked up to her, grabbing her left arm from behind. \nThe woman immediately swung her purse and jerked her arm, pulling herself loose from the man, Sgt. David Drake said. \nShe immediately took off running. \nThe man then got back in his car and left.\nHe is described as a white male in his late 30s or early 40s, about 6 feet tall with a slim build, medium length dark brown hair and a thin moustache.
