We arrived in Salt Lake City, Utah on Tuesday night around 7:30 PM Utah time (9:30 PM in Bloomington). The flightwas a little bumpy at times and was about 3 hours long. The seniors got to sit in first class with the coaches and their families while the rest of the team was in coach along with the band, cheerleaders and alumni. Some guys played UNO to pass the time while others watched movies or played games on our PSP's. I started watching a movie, but ended up sleeping for most of the flight.\nUpon landing, the team got on a bus and rode over to the Utah Jazz practice facility. We then shot around for about an hour or so just to get some shots up and get a small workout in the high altitude. Today we woke up around 10 AM, ate breakfast and rode back to the Jazz practice facility and had a hard practice for about 2 hours. We went over our transition and half court offense and went over San Diego State's plays and how we would defend them. We then came back to the hotel and ate lunch. After hanging out for about two hours, we left the hotel at 4 PM and went to the Huntsman Center which is located on the campus of the University of Utah and will be the site of the first and second round tournament games. Upon arriving, we had a press conference for about 30 minutes and then were allowed 40 minutes to practice on the court. We warmed up and then split up with the big men doing drills on one end of the floor and the guards doing shooting drills on the other end. Personally, I like the gym we're playing in and believe it is a shooter's gym. The rims seem pretty good and I felt like everyone shot the ball pretty well today and feels comfortable.\nAfter our second practice, everyone ate dinner at the Ruby River Steakhouse. They say they have the 'best steak in Utah.' I can't disagree. That may be because that's the only place I've eaten steak in the state of Utah! When we got back to the hotel, we watched film of San Diego State. We watched clips of each individual player as well as set plays that they run. It's now 9:30 PM. We will have dessert in about half an hour and then head back to our rooms to rest for our big day on Thursday.
